Does It Do?
The Adjustable Pin enables seamer mechanics to make fine-tuned adjustments in a fraction of the normal time it would take to set up rolls on a seamer. By eliminating the need for shimming, the Adjustable Pin allows seamer mechanics to by-pass the time consuming task of adding shims to every roll during the set-up process.
Traditionally, each roll may take several minutes to shim correctly into position. Without accurate shimming, a proper seam cannot be obtained during the canning process.
The Adjustable Pin can effectively reduce set-up time on larger seamers by hours.

How Does It Work?
The Adjustable Pin fits inside a standard Angelus 60L or 61H-type seaming roll. It consists of a locking pin, a roll pin, and set-screws. After the Adjustable Pin and seaming roll are installed on the
seamer, no other modifications are required. Once the seaming roll wears out, the Adjustable Pin remains on the seamer and only the roll is replaced. The Adjustable Pin system may be purchased pre-assembled.
