 The Interchangeable Profile Roll is a custom product that consists of a standard seaming roll machined with a non-standard seaming profile.
What Does It Do?
The customized quality of the Interchangeable Profile Roll allows a seamer mechanic the utmost flexibility in achieving the best double seam possible.
When would I need this part?
There may be a time when a can manufacturer recommends a particular profile that is not available for your existing seaming equipment. TMI will customize a roll to meet your needs.
If your canning operation uses Angelus equipment, but a Continental groove is necessary for a quality seam, TMI will make an Interchangeable Profile Roll that consists of an Angelus roll with a Continental groove.
Seaming rolls can be made with Angelus, American National, Continental, or Metal Box profiles.
